Eamonn Griffin

Partner, Taxation

Eamonn Griffin heads our Republic of Ireland taxation services, working closely with Michael Blair, who leads our Northern Ireland taxation services.

Eamonn coordinates the provision of taxation services with advice from other FGS teams such as wealth management and corporate finance.

A former Inspector of Taxes with the Revenue Commissioners and a Chartered Accountant, he specialises in the following for clients based in Ireland or wishing to locate in Ireland:

• Business succession planning
• Tax-based investments, especially domestic / international property and film investments
• Strategic tax planning
• Revenue investigations
• Inward investment
• Tax planning

Eamonn's wide client base ranges from large companies to family businesses and high net worth individuals. Highly regarded for his commercial awareness, he has particular expertise in the service and construction / property sectors.

Entrepreneur

Entrepreneurial in approach, Eamonn set up his own accountancy and tax practice in 1989, Griffin & Company, so he has first-hand experience of the business and taxation concerns of individuals and their families. He became a partner in FGS in 1997 following the merger of his practice with FGS.

Eamonn has a BA (Hons) in English and Philosophy from UCD and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
