Ian Duffy has a strong entrepreneurial background with significant international experience in particular in Europe and the US.

Prior to joining FGS, Ian held a senior role at Anglo Irish Bank, leading operational improvement projects including the replacement of the company's core banking system.

Business strategy and restructuring

Ian has significant experience with growth companies and startups, having created and developed a number of businesses over the years, both locally and nationally. Ian has also held advisory roles in Accenture and IBI Corporate Finance.

He was also Chief Operations Officer of Vision Consulting Ltd, an international consulting firm whose business in Ireland and the UK grew significantly under his expert leadership.

Lately, Ian has been focusing on corporate restructuring projects, particularly where a strategic and management aspect is required. Ian is also responsible for the development of the practice’s cleantech and renewable energy advisory services.

Ian, who joined FGS in January 2007, has a BA BAI (Eng) from Trinity College Dublin and a Diploma in Applied Finance from the Irish Management Institute.
