David Gray
Partner
David Gray is a chartered accountant specialising in audit, assurance and risk management services and is highly regarded for his expertise as a corporate finance adviser.
His audit and advisory clients range from public sector to private sector organisations, from SMEs to large international companies with subsidiaries in Ireland.
He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, and leads the provision of internal audit and risk management services to a number of public and private sector clients.
David has previously been a member of the Ethics Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has been a Joint Secretary of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Corporate finance experience
David was previously a partner in charge of corporate finance services at Coopers and Lybrand. He also served as a Director of Corporate Banking in the Investment Bank of Ireland and is a member of the Institute of Directors.

David, together with David Watters, played a key role in the development of McClure Watters into one of the largest accounting, advisory and consulting firms in Northern Ireland. He was also actively involved in the merger of McClure Watters with FGS in 2006. Following the merger, David became a partner in FGS.
Before joining McClure Watters as an audit partner in 1997, David was managing director of Pace Corporate Services Ltd, which specialised in providing corporate finance and strategic planning advice to export focused companies in Northern Ireland.
Community involvement
David has been actively involved in his local community over the years, and is currently the Honorary Secretary of the board of governors of Grammar School in Bangor and was previously a parent governor of Glenola Collegiate School, also in Bangor.
David is located in our Belfast office.
